Mumbai:

The day after actor Ria Chakraborty accused Susant Singh Rajput sisters of providing a "fake prescription" to enable him to access an anxiety medication that could not be legally prescribed on WhatsApp, Mumbai police recorded a suicide case against two Rajput sisters and the others.
Mumbai Police said the case has been referred to CBI for further investigation as per the orders of the Supreme Court.
An official said, a crime has been recorded against Rajput sisters Priyanka Singh and Maito Singh and Dr. Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi and others.
"He (Susant Singh Rajput) died just five days after receiving the prescription for illegally prescribing psychotropic substances," Ria Chakraborty said in her complaint on Monday.
She said, "It is necessary to investigate the actions of Priyanka Singh, Dr. Tarun Kumar and others and determine how they reached the deceased with such a false and illegal prescription."
Ria Chakraborty's complaint alleges that the false prescription portrayed Susant Singh Rajput as being in an outpatient department in Delhi while he was, in fact, in Mumbai.
The complaint is based on WhatsApp messages between the actor and his sister from June 8, six days before he was found dead in his Mumbai apartment.
From the chat, it looks like Priyanka Singh asked Susant Singh Rajput to take Librium for a week, Nexito every day and Lonazep "whenever there is an anxiety attack".
All three are described for depression and anxiety. Priyanka Singh also seems to be telling her brother that she can help him communicate with "the best doctor in Mumbai, all in confidentiality".
Rhea Chakraborty claimed that her brother's prescription appeared to be "fraudulent and fabricated" and that the drugs could not be prescribed electronically.
Ria Chakraborty, who left Susant Singh Rajput's apartment, claims the actor showed her the messages. She says she tried to dissuade him from taking medication not prescribed by his doctors, but Sushant Singh Rajput "insisted" on taking medications only "his sister was prescribing."
Susant Singh Rajput's lawyer, Vikas Singh, denounced the charge, saying "there is no crime." He said the complaint was Ria Chakraborty's attempt to keep Mumbai Police's jurisdiction alive in the case after the Supreme Court had requested the CBI to take over the entire investigation.
