New Delhi:
The Union's Public Service Commission (UPSC) will soon release the scores obtained by candidates on the civil service examination.
As a general practice, UPSC issues civil service exam scores within 15 days of issuing the final result.
UPSC released the final result of the 2019 Civil Service Exam on August 4. In 2018, the final result of the civil service examination was announced on April 5th and marks were released on April 12th.
UPSC will issue scores for the nominated candidates.
It will also edit the scores obtained by candidates who have not been recommended but who have agreed to share their score sheet publicly for the purpose of recruitment.
According to a scheme of UPSC candidates who appeared in the final stage of testing but were not recommended, they could choose to share their scores so that other employers could recognize them.
Marks are available online, at UPSC, for a year.
In 2016, it was announced that a portal called "Public Employment Agencies Integrated Information System" had been developed for this purpose.
In the 2018 Civil Service Exam, a total of 939 candidates gave their approval for the commission to reveal their scores online.
Kannisak Kataria, the top scorer in the 2018 civil service examination, scored 1,121 out of 2,025 points.
In the 2019 civil service exam, Pradeep Singh and Gatin Kishore were first and second places.
