The US IT sector and business groups, including tech giants Google and Apple, praised the steps taken by President Joe Biden to initiate immigration reforms, stressing that this step will boost the US economy, create jobs, and attract the best talent from around the world and retain Out.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai praised President Biden in a tweet Thursday for the swift action taken on coronavirus relief, the Paris climate accord and immigration reform.

Sundar Pichai said: “Google has supported action on these important issues, and we expect to work with the new administration to help us overcome the pandemic + grow our economy.

American technology companies such as Apple, Google, and Microsoft employ a large number of IT professionals from countries such as India and China.

On Wednesday, President Biden issued a series of executive orders, ranging from re-joining the Paris Agreement on climate change, stopping America's withdrawal from the World Health Organization, abolishing the Muslim travel ban . The Newcomers Program (DACA) for a further four years.

The Trump administration has extended the freeze on H-1B visas, along with other types of work visas and green cards, until March 31. The H-1B visa may be a nonimmigrant visa that allows US companies to hire foreign workers in specialized occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise.
