Prime Minister Modi congratulated Jacinda Ardern, who scored a landslide victory in New Zealand's general election on Saturday and is now slated to serve a second term.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Jacinda Ardern on her re-election as New Zealand Prime Minister and said he looked forward to working on strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
With 87 per cent of the vote counted, Ardern’s center-left Labor won 48.9 per cent of the vote, which means her party is likely to score the highest score of any party.
Prime Minister Ardern gave a strong victory speech in which she said, `` Tonight, New Zealand has shown the Labor Party its greatest support in at least 50 years.
